NOTE:
Magandang basahin yung kanilang sistema. Neat and easy to follow. Actually, mabilis sa una, But SSS in general is not at its best kaya bear with its limitations. Expect delays. Pero may areas/regions na nakakahabol sa ibang service outside of pensions and loans like Id processing, requisition of payments, fixing wrong data entries, etc. Klaro naman dahil di pa sila makabangon sa backlogs from the COVID-19 pandemic hanggang ngayon. Kulang sila sa pondo, tao at makabagong pamamaraan to keep up with these issues. Manu-mano pa rin sila considering there is a provision for online support. Matatagalan yung processing, verification and approval compared sa dati dahil sa mahabang pila ng mga applicants sa lahat ng kanilang serbisyo. It can also be felt in other areas of government - a recurring problem. Kaya best is kulitin nyo sila to make things happen at the least, use "padrino system" or be lured to the temptation of "red tape" to get things done. Corruption in the making he he! That's how it is.
 
Ang nakita kong downside sa mga flyers sa gobyerno especially SSS ay yung computation of benefits ay di pa rin malinaw sa karamihanm, lalo pa kung pinakialaman ng mga walang kwentang media influencer tutorials na malayo sa katotohanan. Sinubukan ko rin magtanong sa SSS pero kung kani-kanino ako itinuturo hanggang umalis na ako dahil walang matinong makausap!

Dyan lagi sa AMSC (average monthly salary credit) nagkakamali yung iba. gamit itong dalawang major formulas ng pension computations:

the sum of P300 plus 20 percent of the average monthly salary credit plus 2 per cent of the average monthly salary credit for each accredited year of service (CYS) in excess of ten years; or
40 per cent of the average monthly salary credit;
(Where AMSC is the average from the last 60 contributions of the member, regardless it was continuous, intermittent or sporadic.)
,,,Ang MSC ay base sa Employee Contribution Table sa buwan/taon na naghulog ang miyembro. Yung CYS (credited years of service) naman ay base sa total monthly contributions divided by 12. Bawat taon, meron silang nilalabas na Employee/Employer contribution Table na nakasaad yung "Minimum" and "Maximum MSC" sa salary brackets. Pero "Regular MSC" ang basehan sa regular pension, hindi yung "Total MSC" dahil hiwalay yung WISP benefits. Maraming rin ER/EC categories yan, pero iisa yung basis. Yung pinakamataas na Regular MSC sa contribution table at salary bracket ang may pinakamataas na tax (sa taon o buwan) at kahit pa lumampas yung sweldo ng miyembro sa maximum salary bracket ( o kaya kahit pa siya sumasayod ng +1M pesos/month he he), yon pa rin yung limit sa regular SSS tax nya. Check na lang natin ang ating salary bracket sa tables para makita ang ating MSC. Pag lumampas ka sa Regular MSC na 20000 pesos ay mapipilitan kang singilin ng extra sa WISP (or Mandatory Provident Fund) dahil yan nga ay sapilitan except Wisp Plus.. Ganito rin ang treatment sa taong 2023. Sa pagkaalam ko 2021 nag-umpisa ang WISP program ng SSS.

Ito yung sample contribution table for "Regular Employers and Employees" (only) for 2024-2025 SSS contributors unless amended.

For this example table, ang basis ng AMSC computaions ay galing sa "Regular Monthly Salary Credit", hindi yung "Total Monthly Salary Credit" dahil hiwalay nga yung benefits sa WISP. Ang pinakamataas na "Regular MSC" ay 20000 pa rin since 2019-2025 c/o RA-11199 as stated:

*The MSC to be used for purposes of calculating premiums for and benefits from the SocialSecurity Fund is capped at P20,000. Any contribution corresponding to the MSC in excess of P20,000 but less than the maximum MSC goes to the mandatory Provident Fund.

Sa ibang Employer/Employee categories ay kayo na ang maghanap nyan, pati yung taon na nilabas sa publiko.
Binigyan ko lang kayo ng idea kung ano ang hokus-pokus ng mga nilalabas na balita ng gobyerno at kung saan-saan.

Ang best scheme to get the highest pension is to maximize your CYS and contribution using the first formula and always make sure that the last 60 contribution fall on the highest MSC you can achieve to get the highest AMSC - magretiro sa retirement age up to 65 yrs old he he. Even if your contribution is just above 120, the 2nd formula is just ok with less contribution. But make sure that you reach the retirement age where you'll enjoy your pension he he.

Ang negative kong nakita ay ito. Dahil fixed pension ang tatanggapin ng beneficiary or pensioner, pag lumipas ang ilang taon at dekada, yung devaluation ng pera at cost of living ay matindi ang epekto dahil ang perang tinatanggap nila ay nag-devaluate na. Wala tayong "pension reform/adjustment" sa ganitong kaso. Yung Wisp at Wisp Plus lang ang bagong dagdag at yung +1000 peso monthlly (excluding those with dependent pension).

I-correct nyo na lang ako kung mali.
