Wow.. im glad na meron ng changes sa paghandle ng child abuse cases ng org nyo…im genuinely happy especially ung part na di na required humarap ung victim sa accused sa judicial committee… thats a good thing.. im not sure lang kung binago nyo ung two-witness rule kasi wala nakalagay jan.. isa yan kasi sa mga contentions nung nagkaroon ng same case before…
Anw…about jan sa sinend mong position ng jw…
#2 The protection of children is of utmost concern and importance to all Jehovah’s Witnesses.
#3 Jehovah’s Witnesses abhor child abuse and view it as a crime.
#5 When elders learn of an accusation of child abuse, they immediately consult with the branch office of Jehovah’s Witnesses to ensure compliance with child abuse reporting laws. (Romans 13:1) Even if the elders have no legal duty to report an accusation to the authorities, the branch office of Jehovah’s Witnesses will instruct the elders to report the matter if a minor is still in danger of abuse or there is some other valid reason.
Please correct ur statement that #5 states that reporting such is merely “encouraged” cause “the branch office of Jehovah’s Witnesses will instruct the elders to report the matter”
2006 according to some articles, na alam ng pamilya niya yung abuse.
Ngayon, nag sumbong uli yung victim at
Kung yan po yung hatol ng judge, so be it.
Salamats
I totally agree.. ung parents or guardians ang ultimately ang may primary responsibility sa anak nila, including reporting ng ganyang case…
I personally think that the mother should be held liable as well sa nangyari sa bata… assuming that the mother was not a victim af abuse as well… but.. i will never shift the blame sa victim or family nea
In some cases of abuse… di madali sa mga victims magsumbong for many reasons,, like fear sa abuser, or embarassment etc….
And usually they confide sa mga taong pinagkakatiwalaan nila like sa religious leaders nila etc…
Having said that, may responsibilty din ang elders nyo to report the crime…Which they never did whey they learned about the acussation way back in 2006… which was a violation of the law… and the 5th position as stated by gentleman….
Wala akong pinapalabas na kunsintindor kayo ng mga abusers… ang pinaguusapan natin eh ung sinasabi mo na kilala kayo sa pagiging masunurin sa batas….kaya i gave an example that highlights thats not the case….
Ultimately ang pinakaguilty sa crime dito eh ung abuser… walang duda jan… a jw who commited a crime…
The mother and family ng victim, kung di man sila abused din also failed sa role nila…
And di excuse na porket di nman nagreport ung magulang eh wala ng responsibility ung elders sa congregation members nea…kung talagang gusto nyo na protektahan ang bata and kita nyo that the other people who supposed to be doing that is not doing anything eh they should’ve stepped in at tinulungan ang bata… yang elders ang pinagkakatiwalaan nyo db??
I really am astonished sa stand mo dito….Ang pinopoint out ko lang eh ung bout sa commission ng crimes… Pero nakakadis appoint yang pananaw mo….
Gets ko na bakit ganito mga reply nyo about the case i presented…
“kung may ganyan man case….”
Why do u guys treat the information i gave you as if di sya talagang nangyari??? Nangyari sya…and it’s not the first time..
Please look at the facts and dont treat them as “kung” at “daw”
So be it - di mo pa din sinagot ang tanong ko kung tama ba ang hatol sa knila… its a simple Yes or No question…
Nawalan na ko gana sagutin ka… sguro magkaiba lang tayo ng principle… i will not blame the victim sa mga cases na they failed or even refused to report any crime committed against them… and i will certainly not refuse to do something just because di nman nakilos ang magulang or pamilya ng biktima… thats just wrong…
“So be it….”
