Kawhi Leonard has declined his $21.3 Million player option for next season and will become an unrestricted free agent.

The Toronto Raptors are reportedly front runners to sign him, and are the only team that can offer him a max contract of 5 years-$190 Million.

Leonard may still take meetings with teams before he finally makes his decision.
 
*BREAKING: The Blazers have traded Evan Turner to the Hawks for Kent Bazemore.

*The Phoenix Suns have declined Jimmer Fredette’s team option for the 2019-20 season.
Fredette will play for the Warriors during the 2019 Summer League.

*The NBA has fined the Knicks $50,000 for violating the NBA’s rules regarding equal access for media.
The Knicks did not allow the New York Daily News access to their post-draft press conference on June 21.

*The Nets are exploring the option of signing DeAndre Jordan in free agency.
 
* Giannis Antetokounmpo has been named 2019 NBA Most Valuable Player!

* Rudy Gobert has been named 2019 NBA Defensive Player of the Year!

* Mike Budenholzer has been named 2019 NBA Coach of the Year!

* Lou Williams has been named 2019 NBA Sixth Man of the Year!

*The Houston Rockets will pursue a sign-and-trade for Jimmy Butler in free agency.

* The Lakers will target J.R. Smith if the Cavaliers trade him elsewhere and he is waived.

* Kristaps Porzingis and the Dallas Mavericks will meet when free agency opens on June 30 and they plan to offer Porzingis a full five-year, $158 million maximum contract.

* The Boston Celtics have emerged as suitors for free-agent point guard Kemba Walker.

* Kawhi Leonard will reportedly meet with the Los Angeles Clippers on July 2nd.
 
*Multiple sources throughout the NBA believe Kyrie Irving is leaning toward signing a four-year, $141 million deal with Brooklyn once free agency starts Sunday.

*Jordan Clarkson has changed agents and signed with Rich Paul and Klutch Sports.

*The Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly “set a meeting” with D’Angelo Russel.

*The Houston Rockets have made Jimmy Butler their top priority this off season. The Rockets don’t have the cap room to sign him straight up, so acquiring Butler would have to be done through a sign-and-trade with the Philadelphia 76ers in which Eric Gordon and Clint Capela would be involved in the package.

*Klay Thompson would be “open” to a meeting with the Los Angeles Clippers if the Golden State Warriors don’t offer him the full 5 year max contract.

*J.R. Smith is likely to join the Los Angeles Lakers when he is eventually traded/waived by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Smith has had his mental breakdowns on the floor, but could be a nice and CHEAP addition to the Lakers who will need players that can stretch the floor.

*Pascal Siakam is the first player in NBA history, to win MIP and a championship with the same team.
 
*The New Orleans Pelicans have declined to extend a qualifying offer to Stanley Johnson, making him an unrestricted free agent. The Pelicans will now have around $28M in cap space.

*The Wolves have “tried” to engage the Nets about a potential sign and trade deal for D’Angelo Russell centered around Andrew Wiggins.

* The Rockets are offering Clint Capela, Eric Gordon, and PJ Tucker in packages to teams with cap space in hopes of acquiring a 1st-Round Pick(s) they could send to the Sixers in a potential sign and trade for Jimmy Butler.

* The Clippers, Mavs, Grizzlies, and Pelicans are expected to show interest in Tobias Harris if he leaves Philly.

* The New York Knicks could be a potential landing spot for PG Terry Rozier in free agency.

* JUST IN: Marc Gasol will stay with the Toronto Raptors on a 1-year, $25M deal.

* The Phoenix Suns have extended their qualifying offer on Kelly Oubre Jr., making him a restricted free agent.
Kelly Oubre is expected to have significant offer sheets in the market, from teams that lose out on the top tier free agents.
 
* LeBron James will change his jersey number for the upcoming season to allow new teammate Anthony Davis to wear No. 23.
James has yet to decide on a new number.

* The Lakers are trading Mo Wagner, Isaac Bonga, and Jemerrio Jones to Wizards as part of the Anthony Davis deal with New Orleans.
Davis will waive his $4 million trade kicker, giving the Lakers $32 million to spend for the offseason.

* Kawhi Leonard intends to meet with the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers when free agency begins.

* Nerlens Noel has declined his $1.9 million player option for the 2019-20 season to become an unrestricted free agent.

Durant will join Kyrie Irving (who is expected to sign with Nets as well) and DeAndre Jordan in Brooklyn.

* Garrett Temple has agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal with the Brooklyn Nets.

* Brook Lopez is planning to sign a four-year, $52 million deal to stay with the Milwaukee Bucks.
 
* Julius Randle has agreed to a 3YR/$63M deal with the New York Knicks.

* Demarre Carroll has agreed to a 2YR/$13M deal with the San Antonio Spurs, per Adrian Wojnarowski.

* Tobias Harris will re-sign with the Philadelphia 76ers on a 5-year, $180M deal. The deal will not include a player option.

* George Hill has agreed to a 3YR/$39M deal to return to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Goran Dragic WAS NOT part of the deal. The Mavericks wanted Dragic, but could not take him as part of the deal.

* The Utah Jazz have traded Derrick Favors to the New Orleans Pelicans for draft picks.

* Mike Muscala has agreed to a deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

* The Golden State Warriors have traded Shabazz Napier, Treveon Graham, and cash to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Napier and Graham were part of the D'Angelo Russell sign-and-trade.

* Tim Frazier has agreed to a one-year, $2 million deal with the Detroit Pistons.

* The Miami Heat have traded Hassan Whiteside to the Portland Trail Blazers for Mo Harkless and Meyers Leonard.

* The Heat have traded Moe Harkless and a future first-round pick to the Los Angeles Clippers to complete the Jimmy Butler sign-and-trade.

NOTE: Miami's initial deals with Dallas fell apart. So the final deal looks like this:
