McDonald's once tried to sell bubblegum-flavored broccoli to encourage kids to eat healthier
It failed, obviously. For the last decade, McDonald's has been incorporating healthier options into its menus. It now offers an entire array of salads and in 2011, it made it possible to swap fries for apples in Happy Meals.
