Closed Iphone US bought but Philippines unlocked question

Hello po. Ask ko lng, I'm planning on buying an iphone x but its us bought daw (more specifically from AT&T) but unlocked here in the Philippines kaya pwede daw any network. Is that true? He also said if I want/plan to factory reset it eh I'll need to have it unlocked again for 300 pesos. Ano pa po downsides from buying it if ever? Help nman po

Semi-Factory Unlocked lang siguro yun ts, yung mga ganyang device na carrier unlocked sa US baka hindi pa tapos ang contract nila, kasi if clear naman, pwede na iyon ipa-fully unlocked

Hindi mo naman makakalkula kung ilang beses mong maire reset yung mabibili mong device, so for every reset panibagong 300 to unlock uli

Well I rarely do a factory reset naman po sa current iphone ko. Actually one time nga lng kasi I forgot my password then. Factory reset kasi deleted lahat. Pero one of my concerns kasi is, will it be a problem ang pagupdate ng ios sa future?

Yes ts. Just like gpp iphones restricted din sila for updating. Panibagong pa unlock ulit siya everytime na mag-update ka. And as far as I know gumagamit sila ng gpp to semi fu, which is mahirap na sa ngayon.
Kaya payo ko sayo fu iphone na bilin mo dahil masakit siya sa ulo hehehe

Baka napa semi fu niya ulit. Recently updated din yung semi fu iphone ko and need pa ulit siya gamitan ng gpp chip para malagyan ng sim(tho di ko mapagana).
As far as I know is yes, pwede mo naman pa fu yan. Hanap ka lang ng trusted na mapag papa unlock-an mo.
