Hello! Nagkabit ako ng pabx system sa office namin and ang need ko na recording for automated operator is more than 10 seconds which is sobrang kulang sa pagbigay ng info sa 16 locals, ang umaabot lang is hanggang 2, (plus yung welcome message pa), cinontact ko yung supplier and ang sabi, inoorder daw yung IC na kinakabit sa board para mapahaba yung recording more than 10 seconds and from China pa bibilhin kaya mahirap.

Meron kayang ibang way na mag diy para mapahaba yung record time? like DIY, or alternative modification.

Hello! Congratulations on installing a PABX system in your office. I understand that you need a recording for the automated operator that lasts longer than the default 10 seconds to provide information for 16 different extensions. It seems that the supplier mentioned ordering an IC from China to extend the recording time, but it might be difficult.

While modifying the PABX system yourself might not be recommended unless you have technical expertise, there may be a few alternative solutions you can explore:

1. Check the PABX settings: Some PABX systems have settings that allow you to adjust the recording time. Try accessing the system's administrator interface or contacting the manufacturer for guidance on how to extend the recording time.

2. Use an external device: If the PABX system doesn't provide an option to extend the recording time, consider using an external device like a separate voice recorder or a computer with audio recording software. You can connect the output of the PABX system to the input of the external device and create longer recordings there.

3. Customized voice prompts: Instead of having a single recording with all the information for all 16 locals, you can create separate voice prompts for each extension. This way, the recording length for each extension can be shorter, but the information will still be provided effectively.

4. Professional assistance: If none of the above options work, you might need to consult with a professional in the field of phone systems or audio recording. They can evaluate your specific PABX system and suggest customized solutions to meet your requirements.

Remember, modifying any electronic device should be done with caution, and it's always best to consult professionals or seek assistance from the manufacturer to avoid any potential issues or voiding warranties.
