Zephaniah 3:17 (KJV) The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
It’s great to know the power of God, the only One who is mighty to save us! But God doesn’t just save us and leave us on our own. Rather, He saves us to His own delight and joy. He showers us with His love and gives us rest. And He fills our ears with His joyous song. How wonderful it is for us to be partakers with God in His joy!
Father God, thank You for Your great saving power. You alone are mighty and able to save me. And Lord, it warms my heart to experience the restful presence of Your love and to hear the delight and joy in Your song as You celebrate my rescue. Lord, it is with joy and thanksgiving that I raise my own song to celebrate with You, and because of You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
