Hi mga ka PHC, siguro marami rami narin mga ka PHC na win 8.1 user dito, and halos lahat using openvpn to have free net right?
So, what's this thread for?
Win 8.1 user, na eexperience nyo ba ang paulit-ulit na ganito?
Dahil dyan, d tayo maka connect ng maayos dibah?
So dahil sa win8.1 user din ako I research and dry run some fix.
This what I got. Some of the startup services on WIn8.1 are disabled dahil mas gusto ng Microsoft na mas mapabilis ang pag boot ng metro interface ng win 8.1, that's the reason why we got that waiting for TUN/TAP interface.... blah blah blah..
So panu gagawin natin?
Step 1
Make sure you have installed the latest openvpn gui from openvpn.net

Step 2
Make sure you always RUN as Administrator the OpenVPN GUI
Step 3
add route-delay , up and --script-security 2 command to our client config
Step 4
Download openvpn.exe ( I attached it for you -openvpn.zip )
Extract and put on your config folder
(MAKE SURE to make the program run as admin when the openvpn execute the program- see my screenshot on how to set-up it)
Step 5
Now try to connect.
Wala na yung route blah blah na nakakainis dibah?
Try it on my vpn server ( jhaxunvpn.zip) - I already put the needed files there, kelangan nyo lang i configure yung openvpn.exe to run as admin. (just what I did here -> 1, 2, 3 or 4)
So what's on the openvpn.exe ? I compile a batch file there na magwawake-up sa needed na network service ng openvpn para maka konek tayo sa mga vpn server. Kaya normal lang na makikita or mag o open yung "Network Connections" sa control panel.
Now windows 8.1 bug is fixed!
Kung ayaw parin try nyo to :
