The SIM Card Registration Act, which took effect in December 2022, requires all mobile users to register their SIM cards with their personal information, including their name, address, and government ID number.

The law was aims to combat crime and terrorism, and protect consumers from fraud.

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has been actively promoting awareness of the SIM Card Registration Act and encouraging people to register their SIM cards. The DICT has also been collaborating with telecommunications companies to streamline and simplify the registration process.

The SIM Card Registration Act is a crucial step toward creating a safer and more secure Philippines.

By registering their SIM cards, mobile users can safeguard themselves against fraud and other crimes. They can also help to ensure that their phones are not used for îllégâl activities.

The DICT urges everyone to register their SIM cards before the deadline. If you have not registered your SIM card yet, you can do so online or at any telecommunications store. (PIA-NCR)

Should never even been extended in the first place, kung nasa ibatas na siya dati pa.

Parang may mga butas pa eh. anyway 9 days to go malaman natin sagot . .

Sa mga prepaid talaga i think diyan yung medyo mahirap i control.
