Help Wifi connention

Yes, you can connect a device that supports dual-band WiFi 6 to a PLDT modem that does not support WiFi 6. However, the maximum speed you will get will be limited by the capabilities of your modem.

Most PLDT modems support at least 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi bands. If your device supports both bands, you can connect to either one. However, the 2.4GHz band is more congested and slower, while the 5GHz band is faster but has a shorter range.

If your device supports WiFi 6, it will work best with a router that also supports WiFi 6. However, if you only have a PLDT modem that does not support WiFi 6, you can still use your device's WiFi 6 capabilities on the 2.4GHz or 5GHz bands. You will not get the full benefit of WiFi 6, but you should still see some improvement in speed and performance.

Keep in mind that you will need to ensure that the WiFi settings on your modem are set up correctly and that your device is configured to connect to your modem's WiFi network. If you are unsure how to do this, you can consult the user manual for your device or contact PLDT support for assistance.
