Trivia WHY DID GOD ASK THE ISRAELITES TO KILL THE CANAANITES.

So the simplest answer as to why God ordered Israelites to kill the Canaanites is because of their sin.

They are doing this "new-born sacrifice" to their pagan god Moloch.



(This is somehow morbid. Viewers discretion is advised.)

They have this god statue that they will heat to it's maximum level then they will put a child for sacrifice on to it's burning hands, while the whole tribe is worshipping that statue. Then they will sound all their instruments (mostly drums) so that they won't hear the cry of that child!

Imagine how horrifying it is! Imagine the anguished of those new borns!

God tried to warn them, but they did not listen. They knew the existence of the Lord but they choose not to obey.

These are their sins...

They had been doing it for years also.. So imagine how many babies they already sacrificed!

But the Israelites did not kill them all. Some were taken by them. Some women and children were spared.
