Womanhood is the role a society gives the female population. The role consists of several tasks or responsibilities and in exchange they are also given some priviledge by the society.

Responsibilities may vary to each culture. But there are general tasks agreed accross cultures. Some which is: being the model of care and love; being a wife, the other half of a man; being a mother and rearing children both birthed and adopted.

Along with this are privileges to honor their womanhood. They are not expected to perform physically taxing tasks; Physical altercations against them are frowned upon; they are treated as if they should be protected; and they are given a pass in case they have emotional swings due to their hormonal changes.

This is the default of the female role called womanhood. But this is not set in stone. These responsibilities and privileges can be traded between couples depending on their innate skills and financial conditions. However, this exchange between couples remains between the couple and they are still treated according to their default roles in the greater society.
