Mas malaki ang economic growth natin ngayon at 5.3% at pumapangalawa ito globally. Kung mga leaders natin ay maayos ang pagpili, tataas at maging steady ito, hopefully.

Dr. Willie Ong is already known to a lot of people but allow me to write something about him on a more personal note.

Willie was my immediate senior during our residency training at Manila Doctors Hospital (MDH) and cardiology fellowship at Philippine General Hospital (PGH), both of which, he eventually became the chief resident and fellow respectively.

One of the heartening things about Willie is his mission to "help the most number of people". I truly believe he has achieved this---he opted not to pursue private practise but instead went into public service through his previous radio program in DZRH, his volunteer work in Salamat Dok, his several social media accounts on health tips that have reached and helped millions of people, and through his several published books (proceeds of which go to his charity works). Until now, he writes a health column in Pilipino Star Ngayon and every first sunday of the month, he gives free clinic at Pasay Charity Health Clinic in Pasay Fire Volunteer Bldg Leveriza Pasay. These and more are his ways to reach out and be of service to others.

If there are two words that I would describe Doc Willie, it would be a HUMBLE SERVANT.

Dear friends, if you are discerning who to vote for in the senatorial race this coming May election, please consider Doc Willie Ong #51.

Maraming salamat po. ❤️
