PH fertility rate declines

FILIPINO women have become less fertile to the point that the country's population could start shrinking, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said on Monday.

The average number of children born per Filipina ages 15 to 49 years fell to 1.9 last year from 2.7 in 2017, the PSA said in a statement detailing preliminary results of the 2022 National Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS)

mas okey toh kaysa naman dumami pa lalo tao sa pinas. sa hirap ng buhay ngaun at laki ng gastusin araw araw. dagdagan pa ba naman ok lang kung 1 - 3 na may kaya sa buhay.. basta't wag lang yung mga mahihirap na naghirap kana pero anak ka pa rin ng anak.. sisihin ba naman sa gobyerno pagnagkulang o walang maitulong na financial... tapos ez housing naman at benefits ang mga kadamay..
