Hello!

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're facing with your PC after updating the drivers. A black screen issue can be caused by various factors, so let's go through some troubleshooting steps to help you resolve this problem:

1. Start by rebooting your computer. Sometimes, a simple restart can fix the issue.

2. If the black screen persists, try booting your PC in Safe Mode. To do this, repeatedly press the F8 key while the computer is starting up until you see the Advanced Boot Options menu. From there, select Safe Mode and see if your PC boots up properly. If it does, the problem might be related to a recently installed driver or software.

3. If Safe Mode doesn't work, try accessing the Advanced Boot Options menu again and select "Repair Your Computer." This will launch the Windows Recovery Environment, where you can perform various troubleshooting steps.

4. From the Windows Recovery Environment, you can try using the System Restore option to revert your system back to a previous working state before the driver update. This may help in fixing the black screen issue.

5. If System Restore doesn't work, you can try accessing the Command Prompt from the Windows Recovery Environment. From there, you can run a few commands to fix potential issues:

- First, type "sfc /scannow" (without quotes) and hit Enter. This command will scan your system files for any errors and repair them if found.

- After the scan is complete, you can run the "chkdsk /f /r" command to check and repair any errors on your hard drive.

6. If none of the above steps work, you might want to consider reinstalling your graphics drivers. You can do this in Safe Mode or by connecting your PC to an external monitor if available.

7. If all else fails, you may need to perform a clean installation of your operating system. This will erase all data on your PC, so make sure you have a backup before proceeding.

Remember, these steps are general troubleshooting methods, and it's important to exercise caution while making any changes to your system. If you're not comfortable with these steps, it's best to contact a professional technician who can help you diagnose and fix the issue.

I hope these suggestions help you resolve the black screen problem on your PC. Good luck!
