At this point, the president and his entourage were not at the venue yet. They arrived much later.
Security tried to disperse some of the protesters. When they refused to leave and then dragged away, one of them exclaimed, "You violated my pride!"
A clear example of victim mentality.
Question: Are these people even Filipino citizens?
Because if they are not, they would be considered Americans regardless of their ethnicity. Foreigners are prohibited to engage in any partisan political activities. They are not vested with the same political rights and privileges as Filipino citizens.
Also, some of the chants were inaccurate, like the Marcos family "committed genocide" and "plundered billions of the Filipino people's money".
