Just to add, I'm not saying it's ok, pero kasi pag mga local company (lalo na sa government...lol) sasabihin nila nag background check sila pero in reality, panakot lang nila yun (not saying all, pero meron dyan).

Pero never lie about anything in your work experience/achievements. This is true for US/European based companies (pag sa bpo, depende, inhouse yes, outsourced not really/depends).

Most HR recruiters ask the standard "tell me about yourself" as a means to judge how you present yourself in 2-3minutes (how you speak, carry yourself in a convo, etc.). Di po nila inaask yung buong life story mo, kung nag kaanak ka, at bakit ka iniwan ng asawa mo (true story nang yari to sa na-interview ko...needless to say, declined siya).

thankyou boss. on time naman po ako lagi :)

It's ok to pause in between questions and think your answer through before replying. Mas na appreciate namin yun kesa you say the first thing that appears on your mind. Don't forget to ask questions din after the interviewer asks if you have questions. Some of us do it to see if you're really interested in the position you're going for.

Don't over stress on the interview itself. Most naman na tinatanong especially pag new graduate, is how you see yourself in 5 years and what you can contribute to the company. May I ask what company po ito at kung private/governent, or what industry?

Ok lang actually mag tagalog if yung interviewer ang nag ask first. It's also fine to say that you're nervous sa interview. Our job is to calm you down, normally pag ako, I make small chat first before I start with the interview process eh. If nag start ang interview sa english, and you can't articulate yung word, then say it in tagalog and apologize. Most of us don't really care, seeing the effort in itself by the interviewee trying to explain is enough. Nakikita kasi at the way the interviewee approaches their answers if they really want the job or not.

If you have any achievements, even small, mention it, pero don't do it na parang nag yayabang ka na. Make sure to mention that you are willing to learn, and can learn fast and independently. :)
