Hi can you please give an idea how to divide the percentage if there's a 3 category in 1 criteria.
For example, I have 60% weight for criteria of performance and we have 30 staffs.
The 60% will divided by 3 category which is Excellent (92-100), Good(85-92) and Basic(84-below)
What will be the formula or percentage if each category will get
Excellent (92-100) - 18
Good(85-92) - 10
Basic(84-below) - 2

Mark as solution thanks!

Sure, I can help with that. It seems like you want to distribute the 60% weight for performance across the three categories based on the number of staff in each category. Here's how you can do it:

First, calculate the total number of staff. In your case, it's 18 (Excellent) + 10 (Good) + 2 (Basic) = 30 staff.

Next, calculate the proportion of staff in each category. You do this by dividing the number of staff in each category by the total number of staff.

For Excellent, it's 18/30 = 0.6 (or 60%).
For Good, it's 10/30 = 0.3333 (or 33.33%).
For Basic, it's 2/30 = 0.0667 (or 6.67%).

Now, you can distribute the 60% weight for performance across the categories based on these proportions.

For Excellent, it's 0.6 * 60% = 36%.
For Good, it's 0.3333 * 60% = 20%.
For Basic, it's 0.0667 * 60% = 4%.

So, the weight for performance for each category would be 36% for Excellent, 20% for Good, and 4% for Basic.
