Hello! I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your file explorer. Random crashes can be frustrating, but don't worry, I'm here to help! Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Update Windows: Make sure your operating system is up to date with the latest patches and updates. Sometimes, outdated software can cause compatibility issues.

2. Check for third-party software conflicts: Some third-party software or plugins can interfere with the file explorer. Try disabling any recently installed software or extensions and see if the issue persists.

3. Scan for malware: Malware infections can cause system instability. Use a reliable antivirus program to scan your computer for any potential threats and remove them if found.

4. Perform a disk cleanup: Over time, temporary files and other junk can accumulate and affect system performance. Use the built-in Disk Cleanup tool to remove unnecessary files and free up disk space.

5. Run the System File Checker (SFC) tool: The SFC tool scans your system files for corruption and attempts to repair them. Open the Command Prompt as an administrator and run the command "sfc /scannow" to initiate the scan.

6. Update device drivers: Outdated or incompatible device drivers can cause various issues. Visit your computer manufacturer's website or use a reliable driver update software to check for and install the latest drivers for your hardware.

7. Perform a clean boot: By performing a clean boot, you can identify if any startup programs or services are causing the issue. Follow the instructions provided by Microsoft to perform a clean boot.

If none of the above steps solve your issue, please provide more information such as error messages or any recent changes you may have made to your system. This will help in diagnosing the problem more accurately.
