Why Leni supporter want Liberalism?
Why BBM supporter want Federalism?

Need insight sa mga nag support sa kanila nung election...

Aware ba kayo sa ideology nila?

up dito. mas gusto ng liberalism ang ideya ng "free market" kung saan ideally, marami ang nagkokompetisyon sa merkado. More open sa maraming ideas ang liberalism hindi tulad ng conservatism na gusto lagi yung nakasanayan na o makalumang paraan. Kung gusto mo ng freedom of speech, liberalism is the way to go. Kung gusto mo ng medyo may censor, go for centrism. Kung makaluma ka talaga, go for conservatism. May pros and cons ang bawat mindset na yan, nakadepende na lang talaga yon sa tao.

Ngayon ang federalism, form of government siya tulad ng sa USA at Canada kung saan hinahati nila ang country sa "states". May federal government tapos merong local government. Ang federal govt ung nag-ooversee sa buong country, mostly federal laws lang iniimplement nila and dapat hindi sila masyadong nakiki-alam sa local government.
Pwede pagsabayin ang liberalism and federalism, actually parang ganun na nga sa USA eh, kaya sila malaya and individualistic dahil ganon.

True, but not always. Dito sa america, baliktad na. Ang freedom of speech nasa conservative side. Madali na msyado maoffend ang liberal side.

Dahil sa scenario na yan, may party na nag split sa liberal, tawag nila libertarian. Pure free market lang sila, disregard ang values from both side.

In fact, kung free market nga ang usapan, conservative na ang nagdadala nyan dito. Liberal is more focus on equality of race, gender, etc.

Kung applied sa Philippines, baka mejo kailangan mo himayin ng mabuti ung platform nila bago mo maconfirm kung classic liberalism pa nga ba ang pinupush nila.

Ang freedom of speech nasa conservative side

Hmmmm. If you're talking about public opinion, then yes. I think majority sa US ay naglelean na sa conservative side. Siguro ang public opinion sa US ay conservative pero yung concept ng freedom of speech whether liberal ba or centrist or conservative or iba pa yung point of view mo is democratic in nature, which is one of the core foundations of liberalism.

In fact, kung free market nga ang usapan, conservative na ang nagdadala nyan dito.

Sa Philippine setting, conservative talaga ang market dito hahaha kaya maraming nag-eexist na oligopoly. Wala masyadong kakumpitensya dahil well-established na ang mga big companies dito sa atin and sa totoo lang mahirap din magstart from scratch. Madali pa nung panahon nila Henry Sy kasi wala sila talagang kakumpitensya nung time nila pero ayun.

Agree. Ayoko sa labels kasi ayoko na nililimitahan ang mga tao na "uy liberal yan ayoko dyan" or "uy gusto niyan federal kaya ayoko dyan". Gusto ko matuto silang magbasa ng platforms and think for themselves hahaha. After all, as of this writing, democratic pa naman ang Pilipinas

Ibig ko sabihin ung conservative party dito yung nagppromote ng freedom of speech. Hindi ung liberal party. Wierd nga baliktad Ung dito compared sa Pinas.

I'm guessing, siguro conservative nlng tawag if ung party gusto lang i-keep ung current status, liberal if gusto ng change. Yan siguro ang mas accurate na definition para idescribe sila. Kasi nga ung platforms nila can possibly swap.

Kung sa market naman, hnd naglalayo ung dito at sa Pinas. Msyado marami red tape kaya mahirap mag start ng business from scratch. Kailangan din may mga connection ka sa politics. Kaya may Libertarian party din dito na gusto nila iurong ung mga batas na nagiging red tape. Both conservative and liberal kasi dito hnd interested baguhin yun.

Yup. Parang yung sa CCP (Chinese Communist Party) pero hindi naman talaga nila pinapractice yung full-blown communism. Ang sinasabi ko lang ay ang ideya sa likod ng liberalism ay nag uugat sa kalayaan sa pamamahayag o freedom of speech, hindi sa partido hahaha. Pwede ako gumawa ng "ultra nationalist party" pero ang pinapractice naman talaga ay centrism (halong liberal at conservative)

Libertarian party din dito na gusto nila iurong ung mga batas na nagiging red tape.

Dapat talaga mabawasan na red tape satin hahaha igaya dapat sa switzerland o sa singapore. Madali mag open nt business, hindi tulad dito sa pinas na sandamakmak na permit ang kailangan potek

liberalism agrees yan sa free market economy, gender rights, abortionism, divorce, more on individual democratic rights and ammending status quo.

while federalism naman ito ay government structure kung saan ang bawat rehiyon ay may autonomiya, maari silang mag pasa ng batas na sa kanilang rehiyon lang. for instance, kung gusto ng rehiyon 6 na mag pasa ng death penalty sa region lng nila exclusive yon sa other regions, hindi.
