Hi, Anyone know how to disable the download capability of receiver in docusign?

Yes, in DocuSign, you can control the download capability of recipients by setting the security settings for the documents you send. Here's how you can disable the download capability for recipients:

1. Access Document Security Settings: When you are preparing a document to send through DocuSign, you can access the Document Security settings. This can usually be found in the advanced sending options or security settings section while you are preparing the document for sending.

2. Disable Download Option: Within the Document Security settings, you should be able to find an option to disable the download capability for recipients. This option might be labeled as 'Prevent recipients from downloading' or something similar.

3. Save and Send: Once you have disabled the download option, save your settings and proceed with sending the document as you normally would.

By following these steps, you can prevent recipients from downloading the document you send them through DocuSign. This can help you maintain control over the distribution and access to your documents.

I apologize for any confusion. It seems like the option to disable the download capability for recipients may not be readily available in the DocuSign interface. However, there are alternative methods you can consider to restrict the download of documents by recipients:

1. Restricted Recipient Actions: When you are sending a document through DocuSign, you can limit the actions that recipients can take on the document. By restricting the recipient from downloading, printing, or editing the document, you can ensure that they can only view and sign it within the DocuSign platform.

2. Watermarking: You can enable the watermarking feature in DocuSign, which adds a watermark to the document indicating that it is a secure, electronically signed document. This can act as a deterrent for recipients to download and share the document.

3. Access Control: You can control access to the document by setting an expiration date for viewing or limiting the number of times the recipient can access the document. This can help prevent unauthorized downloads and sharing of the document.

While DocuSign may not have a direct option to disable the download capability for recipients, utilizing these alternative methods can help you maintain control over the security and distribution of your documents within the platform.
