Good day PHCers, i just wanna ask if a hdd (Seagate 1TB) used in a DVR can also be used as a regular hdd to install Windows? Thank you in advance.

yes sir.. pwedeng pwede.. mas matibay yun compare sa mga ordinary na hdd. kasi naka design yun for 24/7 workload..
fast reply as always sir. I have a spare hdd and i plan to install a version of Windows but the problem is hindi siya nade-detect ni BIOS. What should be the problem?
anung model ng hdd?.. please indicate po.. sata ba?
i manual detect mo sa bios sir..
detect ba sa dvr?
change sata cable..then format mo muna.. using ntfs.. iba kasi format niyan pag sa dvr ginamityes sir. Nag upgrade lang po kaya pinalitan. Here's an update, nadedetect po siya pero bigla siyang nawawala kaya di po tumutuloy installation ng OS.

i know the problem.. fdisk mo sir.. delete the partition and create new partition.. ginagamit ko win98 installer for partitioning.. or hanap ka po ng pang partition na software.. iba kasi file system niyan.. or much better.. format mo sa dvr
