how to check if the system is up
look for light indicators, caps numlock scroll lock

if there no display?
check ram
gpu
video connectors
lastly monitor

if still no display
remove gpu then insert display conn to mobo
check if cpu has integrated gpu
with integrated gpu - clean or replace ram

without int gpu
check the gpu fans
no rotation = bad
with rotation but no display = probably bad (replace)

no power?
if the psu is generic then its bad, replace immediately
if the psu is good brand but pc still has no power
remove the psu and short the power pins. (go to google how and which pins to jumper)
if the psu fan doesnt rotatate then its bad. replace with good one

restart pc
main cause - overheating

not turning on
psu not enough power
bad mobo

instant restart after power press

Here are some additional troubleshooting steps you can consider:

Slow performance:
  • Check for any background processes or applications that may be consuming a high amount of system resources.
  • Scan for malware or viruses that could be affecting system performance.
  • Check the hard drive for any errors or bad sectors using disk diagnostic tools.

Random system crashes:
  • Ensure that all hardware components are securely connected and seated properly.
  • Update device drivers to the latest versions.
  • Monitor system temperatures using software like HWMonitor to check for overheating issues.
  • Test the system's RAM using memtest86 to rule out any potential memory errors.

No internet connection:
  • Check if other devices are able to connect to the same network to determine if the issue is with the computer or the network.
  • Restart the router/modem and the computer.
  • Update network drivers to the latest versions.
  • Disable any VPN or firewall software temporarily to check if they are causing the issue.

Unexpected shutdowns:
  • Check the power supply connections to ensure they are secure and not loose.
  • Clean out any dust or debris from the computer's cooling system to prevent overheating.
  • Run a stress test on the CPU and GPU using software like Prime95 or FurMark to check for stability issues.

These are just a few additional troubleshooting steps you can try. Remember, it's always important to back up your data before performing any hardware changes or software updates.
