God looks into our hearts for our motives, if we only do things only for the sake of religion then we serve that religion not God but if we do thing for the sake of other people and love one another then you are love God you are the son of God for it is written "Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen." 1 John 4:20 I'm not against any religion but if do it only for tradition and not a relationship then evaluate your self if you truly serve and love God. Just like if you love someone your girlfriend or your boyfriend, If you love then you do it because you love then you are happy doing it, but if you do it to just only to to fulfill the tradition then evaluate ourselves.

If religion is not that important why did God say in the book of James 1:27 religion undefiled before God is this,,to visit the fatherless..etcera..Yeah I do agree about religions which do not conform to God and His will but it was he also pointing to a religion that He approves. Man was once alienated from God but in order for us to be drawn back again to Him.. we would need religion to do just that.
