Fortnite: Battle Royale is a free-to-play multiplayer action game developed by Epic Games. The game is based on the battle royale formula and is similar to e.g. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. A hundred players are transported onto an island with almost nothing in their inventory. A player is tasked with finding or looting weapons, traps, and other pieces of gear. The game offers players much leeway - one can run around and shoot as much as he likes, nonetheless, he can also assume the s†éálth approach, hide in an appropriate spot and eliminate the foes with a sniper *****. In Metal Fist: Urban Domination, we assume the role of various characters, each having unique attacks and abilities, who fight for domination in a number of single player and multiplayer modes. The mechanics of the game are pretty simple, and don’t require serious skill, but in order to be successful in the game, the player needs to develop his own fighting style, and constantly train to for his character to progress. During the encounters, we make use of around 100 types of weapons, items, and skills, influencing not only the looks, but also the abilities of our character. The game uses the popular Unreal Engine 4 technology, and can show high-quality 2.5D visuals for it, along with eye-catching details and special effects.

The matches are played between two four-person teams. The players can choose from a large variety of machines, each of which features different statistics and special traits. During the game the player is slowly improving his unit by upgrading its statistics and by unlocking better functions. The controls and aiming are action-focused and the battles are very fast-paced. There are bases of both sides on the map – destroying opponent’s command center is one of the ways for achieving victory. Another way is to take over all control points. There are radar stations on the battlefields, conquering them enables the player to check enemy movement. There are research structures as well - they enable the player to upgrade his tank faster.

Lost Socks: Naughty Brothers tells a rather absurd story of two brothers, who are... a pair of socks. Players take role of one of the game’s protagonists, being forced to explore the world in search of work and new challenges. This time our character is dragged into a small conflict that turns out to be something more than that. The gameplay comes down to fighting duels, during which we do not control our hero directly, only using the attacks and skills through special gestures. This inconvenience is compensated by numerous QTE sections and a complex equipment system, allowing us to use tens of different types of weaponry. The game also offers attractive three-dimensional visuals, powered by Unreal Engine 3.

A two-dimensional platformer from the auto-runner genre, developed by Nerf Game studio for mobile devices. Lost Socks: Naughty Brothers tells a rather absurd story of two brothers, who are... a pair of socks. When one of them disappears without a trace, the other decides to find him, which is an excuse for playing through 30 crazy stages. Our character moves forward by himself, and we have to input gestures to provide him with commands, like jumping or inhaling the air to turn sock into pseudo-balloon and provide slow descent. Our objective is to reach the end of each level filled with obstacles and traps, not to mention various enemies and challenging bosses. To deal with them, we are given a vast array of weaponry that we unlock as we progress through the game.

A science-fiction top-down online shooter intended for mobile platforms, created by a Polish development studio, Sathra Games. The action of Decompression takes us to the near future. We assume the role of a colonial infantry commando entangled in a corporate war for resources. Our task is the neutralization of potential threats on spaceships, planetary mining stations, and other planets’ moons. The core of the gameplay is a dynamic, old school multiplayer competition in one of the three classic game modes: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag. We have eight unique and curiously designed weapons at our disposal. The game, inspired by the classics of the hard science-fiction genre (Alien, Outland, Total Recall and the like), is characterized by high quality graphics created using the cel shading technology.

A sequel to the two-dimensional action game with logic features created in 2013 by Swedish studio Ludosity Interactive. Ittle Dew 2 presents further adventures of the titular female protagonist and her companion Tippsi. The two crashed on another unknown island filled with mysteries and weird creatures. By using a magic map the pair of heroes will have to find six pieces of a raft which will allow them to leave the island. The gameplay mechanics are almost same as in the original game and they combine features of action and adventure games. The game is filled with action and fights with encountered enemies and, it frequently forces player to solve riddles which require them to find a specific item and place it in the right place. All of it is supplemented with simple RPG features and the possibility to upgrade items.
