Captain Marvel is the name of several fictional superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Most of these versions exist in Marvel's main shared universe, known as the Marvel Universe.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain Marvel is Carol Danvers, portrayed by Brie Larson in Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame (both 2019), Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021), and the Disney+ television series Ms. Marvel (2022). Brie Larson will reprise her role in the sequel The Marvels (2023). Mckenna Grace portrayed a young Carol in Captain Marvel.
