If you're experiencing no sound after your computer wakes up from sleep mode, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Update your audio driver: Although you mentioned that installing a new driver didn't solve the issue, it's still worth double-checking that you have the latest driver installed. Visit your computer manufacturer's website or the audio device manufacturer's website to download and install the most up-to-date driver for your specific model.

2. Check power settings: Sometimes, power settings can interfere with audio functionality. To ensure this isn't the case, follow these steps:
a. Press the Windows key + X and select "Device Manager."
b. Expand the "Sound, video, and game controllers" category.
c. Right-click your audio device and select "Properties."
d. Go to the "Power Management" tab and make sure the option to "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is unchecked.
e. Click "OK" to save the changes.

3. Disable fast startup: Fast startup is a feature that can cause various issues, including problems with sound. To disable it, follow these steps:
a. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
b. Type "powercfg.cpl" and press Enter to open the Power Options window.
c. Click on "Choose what the power buttons do" from the left panel.
d. Click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable."
e. Scroll down and uncheck the "Turn on fast startup (recommended)" option.
f. Click "Save changes" and restart your computer.

4. Reset audio settings: Sometimes, resetting the audio settings can resolve the issue. Here's how:
a. Right-click the volume icon in the system tray and select "Open Sound settings."
b. Scroll down to the "Advanced sound options" section and click on "App volume and device preferences."
c. Make sure the correct output device is selected for both the system and your applications.
d. Scroll down further and click on "Sound control panel" under the "Related settings" section.
e. In the Sound window, go to the "Playback" tab, select your default speakers, and click on "Properties."
f. Go to the "Enhancements" tab and check the "Disable all enhancements" option.
g. Click "OK" to save the changes.

If none of these steps solve the issue, you could also try performing a clean boot, checking for hardware issues, or running the Windows troubleshooter for sound problems. Additionally, reaching out to Microsoft Support or your computer manufacturer's customer support may provide further assistance in resolving the problem.

Try to uninstall your current driver then install an older driver version and check/observe.

If the problem persists, then proceed to update the installed driver in Windows Device Manager. and check/observe again.
