Closed Wifi connectivity

So I have this iPhone 6s po, GPP LTE siya (iOs 10.3) ok naman nagagamit and all pero recently lang, yung wifi connection niya, ok nakaconnect but when I try to open some apps like FB, Messenger, Twitter, Snapchat, IG etc bigla nalang naging unstable yung connection niya for example sa Messenger, it keeps on reconnecting siguro mga 30secs din siya magreconnect then ganon ulit after few seconds. I tried to reset the wifi modem naging stable naman for like 3mins then ganon ulit nangyayare sa connection ng phone ko. what should I do? Is it safe to reset network settings kahit na GPP LTE to?

try po ninyo yung security method ng modem nyo to wpa2. pag ayaw pa rin, open nyo sa iphone yung settings tapos puntahan nyo yung info ng wifi network na gamit nyo at gawin nyong static. copy nyo lang yung info sa dhcp at lagay nyo sa static pero doon sa bandang dns be sure na kapareho ng router ip.

basic TS sa phone:
power cycle->check
lumapit ka sa modem->check

last resort -> restore mo yung phone mo
alam ko saksak lang yung GPP so safe sa restore yung iphone or better ask seller bago magrestore


QUESTION: wala bang issue sa ibang gadget connection? kung gnun sa phone either hardware or software.

ginawa ko na po static dun sa connection pero ganon pa din (more likely to have slower connection unlike before). thank you for sharing your knowledge.

my only hope is updating this to a higher version of iOs. baka dun maging stable na ulit yung connection sa phone ko. sabi nung friend ko na much better daw if sa iTunes magupdate ng iOs (is it true?)

my brother is using IP5s which is ok yung connection sa kanya, my mom and dad naman are using IP6+ and ok din ang connection. my sister using samsung and wala din problema.

siguro nga dapat iupdate. ip6s+ din gamit ko ios 10.1.1 so far never pang naencounter ang wifi problem gaya ng sayo.
yung ip7+ ng tito ko 10.3.2 ios version ng sa kaniya. nagkakaroon siya disconnect/connect paulit ulit madalas kapag sa wifi router ng pldt siya nag connect. pero pag pocket wifi no problem naman. kaya kinalikot ko yung wifi router ng pldt nila. hayun pinalitan ko lang ng security method to wpa2. ok na siya.

I have just updated the iOs last night (10.3.3 {14G60}) using iTunes on my laptop, after niya ma-update naging stable ulit ang connection niya not until this afternoon, around 4-4:30pm connect-reconnect again sa social media apps/online games app. yung wifi security method na nilagay ko (upon creating the settings niya is WPA2) for about a year or two na ganon ang wifi namin.

Is it because of the router na kaya ang problema? kasi before we used generic wifi router to test if pwede siya sa modem namin. at first super bilis tapos nung tumagal na siya ayon same problem occured na parang kinakain na ng wifi router yung internet connection kaya pinalitan na namin ito ng branded.

have you tried po changing wpa2 to wpa? or any security method? siguro that would do the trick.

after ko i-set up yung modem and wifi hindi ko na siya ginalaw ulit. sige po, I will try to set up tomorrow para ako lang tao dito sa bahay.

Kung di ako nagkakamali, nangyare na sakin to dati nung naka iphone 4 pa ako. Ang ginawa ko kasi inalis ko ang password ng wifi. As in open sya sa lahat. At umokay sya. Yun nga lang, possible na may makaconnect na iba.

pwede rin solution yan. tanggalin ang password. gawing hidden nalang ang ssid.

Problem solved!! Pero thank you so much guys for the help. I have just reset the network settings of this phone and until now wala ng reconnection na occur. Safe naman even I'm using GPP LTE na phone.
