For family use, such as school and work, there are a few key specifications to consider when choosing a computer. Here are some factors to keep in mind:

1. Processor (CPU): Look for a modern processor with multiple cores, such as an Intel Core i5 or i7, or an AMD Ryzen 5 or 7. These processors provide good performance for multitasking and handling everyday tasks.

2. Memory (RAM): Aim for at least 8GB of RAM, as this will ensure smooth multitasking and allow you to run multiple applications simultaneously without slowing down the system.

3. Storage: It is recommended to have a combination of solid-state drive (SSD) and a traditional hard disk drive (HDD). An SSD provides faster boot times and application loading, while an HDD offers more storage capacity at a lower cost. Consider a laptop with at least 256GB SSD or a desktop with a larger capacity HDD for storing files.

4. Graphics: Integrated graphics on modern processors are usually sufficient for everyday tasks like schoolwork and office applications. If you or your family members plan to do any gaming or graphic-intensive tasks, you might want to consider a dedicated graphics card.

5. Display: For school and work tasks, a Full HD (1920x1080) resolution display should be adequate. Consider the display size based on your preference and portability needs. A 14-15 inch display is a good balance between screen real estate and portability for laptops.

6. Operating System: Windows 10 is the most commonly used operating system, and it offers good compatibility with a wide range of software. However, if you or your family members are more comfortable with macOS or Linux, consider those options as well.

7. Connectivity and Ports: Ensure that the computer has enough USB ports, HDMI or DisplayPort outputs, and an SD card reader, depending on your specific needs.

8. Battery Life: If you plan to use a laptop on the go, consider a model with a good battery life to avoid constantly needing to be plugged in.

9. Budget: Set a budget and try to find the best balance between performance and cost. Consider purchasing from reputable brands that offer good customer support and warranty.

Remember to also consider the specific requirements of the software and applications you'll be using for school and work. This will help ensure compatibility and optimal performance.

Definitely the top one, however 8gb is quite enough for minimum workload but adding a another 8gb stick much better on multitasking and handle program quickly, plus dual channel rather than single channel memory.

Also can you include the price?
