Hello,
I have a Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING motherboard that works fine. Lately dumating ang araw na nag eerror sya with a "USB Device over current status detected" error. At first, nireboot ko sya, nag boot naman ulit. Pero after a week, di na sya nag boot stuck na ulit sya sa "USB Device over current status detected. Shutdown after 15seconds". :D

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing the "USB Device over current status detected" error on your Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING motherboard. This error usually occurs when there is an issue with the USB ports or devices connected to them.

Here are a few possible solutions you can try:

1. Check your USB devices: Disconnect all USB devices from your computer, including the front panel USB connectors. Then try booting your system again. If the error message disappears, it's possible that one of the USB devices or connectors is causing the problem. You can reconnect them one by one to identify the problematic device.

2. Clear CMOS: To perform a CMOS reset, you need to locate the CMOS battery on your motherboard and temporarily remove it. Leave it out for a few minutes before putting it back in. This will reset the motherboard's BIOS settings to default, which might help resolve the issue.

3. Test with a different power supply: Sometimes the overcurrent error can be caused by a faulty power supply. If possible, try using a different power supply to see if the issue persists.

4. Update BIOS and drivers: Make sure you have the latest BIOS version installed for your motherboard. You can download it from the official Asus support website. Additionally, update the drivers for your USB controllers from the manufacturer's website.

5. Contact technical support: If none of the above solutions work, it may be best to get in touch with Asus technical support or seek assistance from a qualified technician. They will be able to provide specific troubleshooting steps or recommend a solution based on your situation.

I hope these suggestions help you resolve the issue with the "USB Device over current status detected" error. Good luck!
