Yes, at times you’ll have the most tedious things to take care of and you’ll sit for hours procrastinating because you’re reluctant to start, dreading how long it will take until you’re through. The more you procrastinate, however, the less you get done. If the length of the task is what bothers you the most, allocate a certain amount of minutes (say 5) and when this time is up, move on to something else for another 5 minutes and then back to the ‘tedious’ task. In doing so, you won’t have to sit through the same thing for long stretches of time, but you’ll still be able to get it done.
