The Unwanted Undead Adventurer follows the story of young adventurer Rentt Faina, who unfortunately is neither good nor bad at monster hunting. His mediocre talent leads to a lot of small-level hunts for goblins and slimes, and nothing more satisfying. That all changes when he ends up facing an unexpected dragon - who swallows him whole. That is not the end of Rentt's story, though, as he returns as a skeleton, neither living nor dead. His adventuring takes a different turn as he tries to find a way to become human and return to the land of the living again.
