Ask kolang po if possible ma MITM nang P2p provider ko Yung mga devices na gumagamit sa wifi like super easy lang ba nya magagawa? I'm worried kasi baka nakikita nya mga sites na bino browse ko or even the password I don't see suspicious log in naman so worried nalang ako sa mga sites na visit ko if nakikita nya.

Hello! Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attacks can indeed be a concern for users of public Wi-Fi networks, including point-to-point (P2P) connections. In a MITM attack, a malicious actor intercepts and potentially alters the communication between two parties without their knowledge.

In the case of your P2P provider potentially conducting a MITM attack, it is technically possible for them to intercept and view unencrypted data transmitted between your device and the internet. This could include websites you visit and other unsecured data.

To protect yourself from potential MITM attacks by your P2P provider, consider the following steps:

1. Use HTTPS: Ensure that websites you visit use HTTPS encryption. This provides a secure connection between your device and the website, making it harder for a MITM attacker to intercept your data.

2. Use a VPN: Consider using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to encrypt your internet traffic. A VPN creates a secure tunnel for your data, protecting it from potential eavesdropping by your P2P provider or other malicious actors.

3. Update your Devices: Keep your devices and software up to date with the latest security patches to reduce the risk of vulnerabilities that could be exploited in a MITM attack.

4. Monitor your Accounts: Regularly review your online accounts for any suspicious activity, such as unauthorized logins or changes to your account settings.

While it is important to be aware of the potential risks of MITM attacks, it is also worth noting that most reputable P2P providers do not engage in such practices as it can be îllégâl and unethical. If you have concerns about your provider's security practices, you may want to reach out to them for clarification on how they handle user data and network security.

If you suspect that your provider is conducting MITM attacks or other malicious activities, you may want to consider using a different, more trustworthy provider for your P2P connection. Your privacy and security online are important, so taking steps to protect your data is a wise decision.
