Tutorial NEED HELP. Steam popping DISK WRITE ERROR. What to do? Help!

When updating and during installation i get DISK WRITE ERROR. Then installation cancels. What to do?

your hard disk or ssd is failing or has a lot of bad sectors. try running chkdsk to diagnose disk errors

I just bought my laptop just this February... Is it really possible that its failing that early?
