Does anyone of you have experienced any of these well-known sleep phenomena?
I had one experience of both in the same dream, which i will share. If you do, it would be appreciated if you share your experience too.
This happened back when i was in college. I was a transferee from a different university, resulting in me becoming an irregular student. It was hard to make connection with classmates in this setting, so I ended up being addicted to LAN gaming Dota 2 with strangers in internet cafes. At some point i dropped all my classes, playing all day, fueled by coffee, Payless Xtra Big Pancit Canton and fried siomai.
This particular day, I was already awake for 40+ hrs before I decided to give my self a break. I had a cup of double sachet Kopiko Black 3in1, then went my way home.
I share a bedroom with my cousin, by the way. Myself on the left bed, him on the right bed and a japanese divider in between towards a window at the middle back of the room.
I went to bed and this is how the dream went. The earliest I recollect is me standing in the same room. I knew it was a dream, and a lucid one where I am in control.. or in the beginning of it at least. I see a black female figure, standing. It has no features but it has a shape. My NSFW mind had an idea, if you know what I mean. I laid down, the figure went on top of me..Slowly but surely it was getting really exciting since I can also feel everything.
Then suddenly i can't move. I tried to speak but i cant. It is as if I have exhaled all the air in my lungs. Then the figure starts levitating towards the ceiling. And I feel my self being pulled towards it. Until I woke up.
I opened my eyes, but, I still can't move, and can't produce any voice. I looked up above my head towards the window, and I see the same figure outside. As soon as I realize I feel my body levitating again, and i'm still out of breath. I got slammed to the divider, which gave me hope... hope that my cousin will hear the noise. But he didn't. I still hear him snoring. Slowly I was levitating towards the window. I panicked, until I feel my leg kick, which woke me up again.
I opened my eyes, again I still cant move. It may have been 4 or 5 times that I have opened my eyes, get slammed on the divider, then through the window. Each time i was levitating further and further outside the window, going through it like a ghost. Each time waking up again but still in a dream.
To me, the line between sleep and awakeness has been blurred. It was scary, it might as well be the line between living and death.
Until the final waking up that I was able to stand up. And that was barely 5 minutes since I went to bed. I went out of the room, and slept in the living room instead. Honestly, I was still afraid to fall asleep again after that.
Thank you. I hope you enjoyed reading.
