Okay kung ganon. Pero wag lang sana tayo dumating na may masiraan ng modem tapos sa akin tatakbo para lang irepair. Yung mga nagawan ko na kasi kinakalikot pa ang system at nvram tapos kasalanan ko pa kung bakit nasira. Marami na sa akin nagpagawa at nag parepair ng hindi ko naman niremote.

Yung developer lang ng firmware ang tinutulungan mo hindi yung taga phc, nagiging hunter lang tayo ng exploit sa device. Kasi kung binubulong mo nalang hindi madedetect at hindi mag kakamot ulo yung nadali ng update.

Share ko lang din sa 2993. Kahit idisable mo ang ftp upgrade mag uupdate parin yan kasi hindi na sa nvram nakuha ng settings.

Wala naman natamaan, pero good luck parin sa ginagawa mo. Kahit gumawa ka ng downgrade firmware sa ftp server hindi parin yan mag faflash kung wala kang idea sa firmware kung papaano nagana ang flashing.

Kaya ang ending mag rerelease sila ng device update na talagang ikakandado nila. Look at this scenario. Maybe that's okay they the devs just continue to lockdown the device hard, because the device you and others use now are still manageable by the methods already publicly available.

But what about the other devices that will come out of the factory, carrying the locked down firmware update? What happens to you and others who would want to buy the device again for whatever reason? How then will you gain access to it that has already been locked?

Sometimes, you need to see the bigger picture and think ahead. Wala naman ganitong diskusyon kung wala sila dyan na nagpapahirap sa mga tumutuklas ng pamamaraan para maging kapakipakinabang ang mga binili natin.

What I'm saying is that sometimes, sharing is not in the best interest of the many, especially if you have actors that are ready to do whatever they can to hamper the thing that you are trying to share. The end result is that everybody, and I mean even us who discovers methods of entry, are the losers of this game. Because the only winners here are the developers who can do whatever they want to do and you can NEVER match nor counterattack their actions, because DOING SO would only ENABLE them to TAKE MORE DRASTIC measures in the future in the form of continuous firmware updates, to keep that KEY out of anyone's reach.

And like I said before, wala dapat tayo ganitong diskusyon kung wala ang ISP devs dyan, at abandonado na ang device kung saan malaya na tayo gawin anumang maisipan nating gawin.

I get your point and it doesn't stop us from accessing your said drastic measures. if we will do nothing to them, there is always no other way. that is why i strongly believe that this forum, will share ideas to achieve our objectives. our objective is to fully control what we owned.

You don't even have any idea of the measures they took in the newer releases, for you to claim anything like nothing can stop you. Anyway if you REALLY want to share and at the same time HELP us keep the devs from doing anything more locking to the device, then KEEP IT UNDER WRAPS.

One can learn without making noise, for those who make noises are those that have nothing to say or dont know what they are saying, just like an empty can.

Yes, yan ang sitwasyon natin kay Trams, mabilis ang QRT quick response team nila sa anumang lumabas na pamamaraan. Puro device lockdown ang inilalabas na updates. Huwag na natin bigyan pa sila ng mga aayusin.

Walang ibang tools na kailangan dyan sa issue tulad niyan kundi bugfix update from Trams. Sa halip na naka focus sila sa mga methods dito, maigi rin kung titingin sila sa mga nagrereport ng issues kagaya nyan at magrelease naman sila ng update para umayos yan.
