Help [HELP] Reformat of Laptop

Mga lods question. Paano po mag reformat ng HP Laptop Folio 9480m Model na naka lock ang BIOS nya? Gusto ko sana mag reformat ng fresh installation. Ang ginawa ko nalang is update lang. Sana meron makatulong.
 
need mo ng bootable usb with windows installer, most likely gpt partition niyan. try mo sa recovery para ma-access mo booting order niya
panong recovery po sir? di ko kasi machange yung boot order dahil naka lock tong BIOS nya. Meron naman po USB Bootable kaso kapag iseset ko na sa USB, black lang siya. :'(

Reset CMOS Password by using the BIOS Configuration Utility from HP.​

2. Install the Bios Configuration Utility on your system.
3. During the installation process note the installation folder of the "HP Bios Config Utility (BCU)". *

* Note: Commonly the BCU is installed at "C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\BIOS Configuration Utility".
4. After installation open Command Prompt as administrator.
5. From command prompt navigate at the installation folder of the "HP Bios Config Utility (BCU", by typing this command:
  • cd \program files (x86)\hp\bios configuration utility
6. Then type the following command to remove the BIOS/CMOS Setup password on you HP Laptop:
  • biosconfigutility.exe /newsetuppassword:""
7. If everything goes smoothly then you receive a "Successfully modified Setup Password" message. *
 
kung intact pa yun oem partition, pwede mo gamitin ang hp recovery wizard habang naka open ang windows at piliin mo lang yun factory reset/restore... mahirap iremove ang password ng uefi bios lalo na ang hp kasi may anti-theft feature kasi yan, or pwede rin kung may kaparehong model na laptop, pwede mo iremove yun harddisk at ilipat doon sa kaparehong model at doon mo ireinstall ang os

kylngan mo muna maalis ung lock sa bios nyan bago mo format

Thank you po sa mga inputs ninyo. Mukhang ililipat ko nalang talaga sa ibang laptop or desktop yung SSD ko para mareformat. hehe
 
Lods remove mo yung drive sa bios-locked pc then iconnect mo sa other pc using enclosure. Dun mo itry to reformat ang disk. Best use is diskpart mismo.

Sa diskpart
Type:

list disk
select Disk (your disk)
clean

then convert to GPT
Type:

convert GPT

After masucessful, open Win2USB

Follow niyo nalang po set up instruction
 
Lods remove mo yung drive sa bios-locked pc then iconnect mo sa other pc using enclosure. Dun mo itry to reformat ang disk. Best use is diskpart mismo.

Sa diskpart
Type:

list disk
select Disk (your disk)
clean

then convert to GPT
Type:

convert GPT

After masucessful, open Win2USB

Ganito na lang po talaga gagawin ko. Actually eto yung unang ginawa ko nung nag Win10 ako. Nung nag Win11 naman ako, nag update nalang ako. hehe
