Keisuke Itagaki’s work Baki (New Grappler Baki) will come to Netflix Japan as an anime series in Summer 2018. The series is scheduled to be made available all around the world in Fall 2018 and will cover the ‘Most Evil Death Row Convicts’ arc of the manga.
To become better than his father Yujiro Hanma, who is also the strongest man of the world, Baki Hanma continues to train hard. During that time, the most evil and worst death row candidates gathered in Tokyo. They want to taste defeat. They are too strong and tired of life, so to feel the excitement of challenge one more time, they look for someone to beat them before they die and that’s why they choose Baki. Coming to help him are other underground martial art warriors: Kaoru Hanayama, Gouki Shibukawa, Retsu Kaioh, and Doppo Orochi. Will they be able to defeat the death row prisoners?
