Answer #1:
We tried that.
It was called The Dark Ages for a good reason.
It still exists in Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Republican America.
Answer #2:
Look at Saudi Arabia, it’s run by a religion and you tell me, is it a better place?
Answer #3:
Dear GOD no. We know how this plays out, as we have this little thing called “history”.
When Christian religion had de facto political power, what did we get? The Dark Ages. Witch hunts. Crusades. Torquemada. Torture, death, thought police.
We can see the direction the inbred States in the US are going: Same same.
Islam? ISIS, Taliban…
Religion should never, EVER have a say in politics. If you want to build a wall, build it between the church and government. And make it hundreds of meters high and really, really think. And electrify it.
Answer #4:
That was tried during many centuries of Christian totalitarianism, terror and torture during long dark centuries known as the “dark ages", many genocidal crusades, including the Christian crusade of the Third Reich. Not forgetting the 300+ years of inquisition, the current totalitarianism in Afghanistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia and regions of the USA.
RELIGION POISONS EVERYTHING. The antidote to that vile poison is proving to be education and free, peaceful godless predominantly non-religious secular democracy.
How about you guys?
