Sa isang madilim na gabi,
ihip ng hangin ang namumutawi.
Payapang sandali,
sigundo'y mabilis na napawi.
Sa isang pitik ng mga daliri
panganib ng gabi ang siyang namayani.
Panaginip ng sandali,
bangungot ng lahat at sa nakararami

Nagsimula ang lahat,
sa isang munting kislap lamang
Sa madilim na kagubatan,
tinig ang hibik ng bawat nilalang.
Kasabay ng mga butuing,
sa madilim na langit - nangangarap sa Lumalang
Na nawa'y wakasang lubusan,
init ng paligid sa bawat parang.

Ang paligid ay nag-iba,
noon ay berde bakit naging pula.
Malamig na tila ba'y bumabaha,
ngunit ngayo'y mainit at nagbabaga.

Sigundo, minuto,
oras ay mabilis na nagbago
Gaya ng isang abo,
na tila ba'y naglaho ng buo.
Isang araw, ilang linggo,
nanahimik ang buong mundo.
Hinaing ng maamo,
"Bakit kalagayan ko ay itinatago".

Ngayon ang tanging hiling,
buhos ng ulan sana'y h'wag ipagkait.
Sa Amang lumikha ng langit,
sa kamay mo kami ay kumakapit.
Minsa'y napakinabangan,
nawa'y h'wag namang kaligtaan.
Mabuting dulot ng Amazonia,
sa lahat ng nilalang - na siyang nakinabang.

This is really awful. seen the animals been burned alive

Kaya nga eh grabe 3days umabot yung sunog..
It last 3 days because marami trees. kaya ganun
It started few months ago and did not stop... not only three days... Since Brazilain Bolsanoro became president, he took so many laws in order to destroy the forest to profit greedy land garbbers

There are speculations that this was not an accident and was done intentionally...

It's horrifying -- in the past year, an area the size of 500,000 soccer fields has been destroyed in the Amazon! Nearly half a BILLION trees torn down and gone... forever.

This is how they do it: armed militia swarm into protected areas, and indigenous leaders who stand up to them are murdered. There’s even stories of planes dropping gasoline to start massive forest fires. And Brazil's far-right President Bolsonaro is making it even worse by stripping the Amazon of its remaining protections!

Right now, Amazon champions in Brazil’s Congress are considering sweeping new protections for the precious rainforest. And indigenous groups are calling for international support to ramp up pressure to defend their home.

Bolsonaro has praised forest killers, blocked money for key conservation programs and threatened to evict entire indigenous communities from their lands. And if we don’t stop it, it’s not just the forest we’ll lose. It could be everything. The Amazon breathes in and stores massive amounts of carbon -- and without it, there’s no chance of stopping the climate crisis.

Members of the Brazilian Congress are about to introduce proposals that could bring îllégâl deforestation in Brazil to ZERO, and key indigenous leaders are calling on the world to support the defence of the forest. We can help them!

The Amazon needs us right now. Add your name, and share widely to end the Amazon apocalypse before it’s too late. Once enough of us sign, we'll throw everything at saving the forest -- demonstrating of huge public support, polling, hard-hitting ads, and pressure on key governments around the world to break their silence:

Let’s build a massive call of citizens from around the world to protect the forest -- when it's huge, allies will deliver our voices to Congress in each key moment to silence the chainsaws and stop this Amazon apocalypse!
