“The tragic stories of children victimized by the Philippines’ ‘drug war’ should energize the UN Human Rights Council to bolster efforts to put an end to the killings,” Conde said. “The Philippine government needs to be held accountable for the suffering of these children.”

Magnanakaw at holdap
Sila mismo magbebenta ng droga

right..let their addict parents live..keep on using drugs until one day when their brains or mind are wasted they will look to their children hallucinate saw something then KILL THEIR OWN OR ABUSE THEIR OWN CHILDREN..yah let the drug addict live and tell them verbal lessons hoping they stop being an addict..let the addict live..so that one day..they wreck another family or persons life by killing or raping one of their love ones..stop the killing..right..??

We are talking about the so-called "collateral damage" and the disastrous effects of the fake war on drugs on the children... not about the addicts killed!

i would not call it fake because theres really a war on drugs..hidden for so many years..but sadly the drugs side has been prepared thats why its really hard to win this war..except for cold war..do you know a war where no on got killed..??..collateral damage=victims yah..but how bout victims=people who are raped, murdered, families who lost their loveone,CHILDREN OF GOOD PEOPLE OR PARENTS who was taken away by this drug addict who they kill when they holdap or s†éál from them..which is the collateral damage?

'fake war on drugs' Hindi iyun fake, masyado lang nag ambition si DU30 na matatapos nya in 6months.. Well dito nga samin dekada pa inabot para ma dakip yung isang drug lord dito noon pa iyun sa panahon ni Erap.

Our authorities should consider profiling Chinese Mainlanders coming in and out of our country, our Navy and Coast Guard should consider acquiring small patrol boats to monitor the coast and fishing ports that are likely drugs drop off point. We should require our fishing boats to have GPS trackers to monitor them, its dual purpose to guard them and to keep them safe.

You're maybe right but it is for the good of all. If Redrigo Duterte did not made that act for drug war more lives will end to trash in the future.

"fake" because he does not address the root of the problem... just kill addicts and innocent people without due process, 99% being poor people and leave alone the drug lords, even promoting the ones facilitating the billions of shabu shipments to come in the country... Yes, it a fake war on drugs! Now, according to a drug lord himself, since duterte is president there are more drugs in the country...

Why do we have more drugs now? Ask the duterte's chinese good friends!!

The good of the people??? to destroy the lives of kids and innocents? to destroy the values of a country? to destroy democracy? to destroy the rule of law?

Yes, like all the countries in the world, the drug was a problem in our country but not at the extent that duterte said... In 2016, according to the official figure, the number of addicts was 1.8 million. Duterte said 3 million! Then a year later, according to duterte himself, it became 4 million and in his latest statement, it's 8 million!!! So either his war on drug is a big failure because instead of having fewer drug addicts, their number was multiply by 5 or he is a liar... or both!

The purge was a big 'opsiee' for DU30, calling it 'fake war on drugs' should be considered a conspiracy. People tend to forget that druglords are much clever than most of us, they are aware of on whats going on within our government they play chess in real life and that is why our authorities including DU30 failed to consider.

Drug lords are intelligent... not so sure! They are just well connected with high ranking people, they have money to bribe everybody... Anyways, is it a reason to kill people without due process?? Making hundreds of thousands angry orphans is destroying a generation of Filipinos... What kind of adults these kids will become?

The Philippines before duterte WAS becoming a narco state but the previous dont want to acknowledge not until duterte that why he began this war against drug to prevent it to become a full narco state.

But can you run and maintain a drug cartel business though? You can't just bash in through the ranks of corrupt people and say "hey I want to make business with you involving drugs" of course you need a keen and clever mind just like chess.

Hundreds of thousands angry orphan.... yet no specific and accurate data to prove. Hindi ako DDS pero yung mga middle class delawans na iyan sa totoong buhay takot yan makihalubilo sa mga poor people who live in slums pero kung maka represent sila sa mga poor pinoys na napatay sa 'drug war' daig pa CHR.

You are not a DDS and I am not a dilawan... the most common figure of killed are around 20,000 people... if you compute that each one of them had, at least 4 kids - poor people tend to have more kids - it's already 80 k... but not only they had kids on their own but also relatives directly impacted...
Even taking the official figure of almost 7 k, it's still a huge number of people who suffer the consequence of this war on drugs which, by the way, has been tried already in other countries like Colombia (the best example) but was abandoned because it does not work!

Well lahat nang mga sources mo dito ay galing sa mga delawan and that makes you one. For me I don't even quote DDS apologist sources. Lagi din ako nagbabasa sa r/ph kaya alam ko yung mga source na galing sa mga anti-DU30 hardliners.

Ok sayo lang pala yan hinatak yung datos 'hundreds of thousands of oprhans'. I rest my case.

Well for you and the DDS, anything and everything against duterte is dilawan :D So if being respectful of life, human rights and our country, in this case, I am a proud dilawan!
