The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) urged motorists to call or approach any enforcer to complain of a driver's reckless driving instead of taking matters in their own hands.
"As a motorist, you can call any enforcer. You can call the attention of any enforcer and report this matter for reckless driving," MMDA Traffic Chief Bong Nebrija said in a report on GMA's "24 Oras Weekend" on Sunday.
"Kasi po 'yung reckless [driving], this could result in an accident so it's just an accident waiting to happen," he added.
Nebrija's remarks came after an altercation between a bus driver and the passengers of a car in Pasay City. Two women from the car boarded the bus and berated the driver, accusing him of reckless driving and nearly hitting their car. The argument escalated to at least one of the women hitting the driver before they were separated by traffic enforcers and the bus passengers. — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/BM, GMA News
