This tradition of graduation rites comes from the US... It does not exist in many countries, like many European countries... much better talaga!

Disclaimer: Since there are some threads like this with the ts obviously biased on one side, I just want to emphasize that this is my opinion. You may not agree with it, but no opinion is wrong. Every person thinks differently 😊

For me, I don't agree. Here's why:

For grade 1 students, they can think na after 5 years, maeexperience na nila makagraduate. I remember being so excited nung grade 6 ako kasi makakapagsuot ako ng toga. Ang pagtungtong sa high school ay new chapter sa life ko, a fresh new start, a new milestone.

It's better to set a few small goals that are easy to achieve, than a big one that may seem difficult to reach. So I believe na dapat may graduation kahit man lang sana sa elementary at hindi na sa kinder.

Personal opinion: The name of the ceremony just changed pero ganoon parin naman ang mensaheng nais iparating ng moving-up ceremony—bigyang pugay ang paghihirap ng estudyante at magulang. Pero hanggang ngayon, medyo magulo parin talaga itong issue na to. Pero nabasa ko rito: You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now., "In DM No. 25 s. of 2019, Briones clarified that the end of school year rites for Grade 6 completers this school year 2018-2019 'shall be a graduation ceremony.' She explained that the 'moving-up ceremony instead of graduation ceremony for Grade 6 is under discussion.'"

So ayun, medyo mahaba-haba pa talagang diskusyon ang K-12 program. Ayon naman dito You do not have permission to view the full content of this post.
