Closed Code to block sites

pahelp naman po...ano ang pwedeng gawin para mablock ang isang site sa may vps...like if may vps ako at ibablock ko ang isang site basta't gamit niya server ko di siya makaka access...

ano hinahanap mo? katulad ba ng firewall or k9 yata yun na ginagamit ng iba para mablock ibang sites, parang ganyan ba need mo ts? pasensya na wala akong masyadong alam dyan haha.

I think need mo mag install or setup ng firewall sa vps mo. Then need to mo din iconfigure yung pag filter ng outbound requests. Each firewall may differ kung pano sya kino-configure.

I'm not sure pero pwde mo rin siguro i add ung fqdn sa hosts file.

1. Connect to VPS.
2. Edit /etc/hosts file.
3. Add "127.0.0.1 <website fqdn>"

127.0.0.1 example.com

Im not that sure if this will work in a vps used as a vpn tunnel.
Di rin to gagana kung naka enable ung DNS override (use Google [8.8.8.8]) upon establishing connection ng user to vps.
Also, ang downside is you have to write all the fqdn manually kasi naffilter lang neto is exact hostname.
e.g:

 ## /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 example.com

This will map the access of "example.com" to 127.0.0.1.
pero it will not map the access of "You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now."
