Tutorial From tampered to china stable {xiaomi}

So tampered rom or Fake Rom was pain in the a**, when comes receiving updates, or hard touch issues on Redmi Devices that has a fake rom installed.

So i just want to show you how to remove from Tampered to China or Global Version.

Scenario: I receive a Redmi 5 Plus, Fake Unlock bootloader, Fake Rom (9.2.2.0), And auto disable OEM Unlocking. Kaya hindi ako makareceive ng updates due to fake rom, also meron bugs from the rom na yung touchpanel ay laging not responding.

NOTES:

First things First, you need to know that your variant is based. Kung saan siya galing yun ng i-flash mo.
(e.g. Redmi 5 Plus
MEE7 = China Stable MEG7 = Global Stable)

And don't f**k it up. Kasi bawal i-flash ng global stable sa china variant. Need to unlock the bootloader first before, flashing the global stable.

There are 2 ways to solve it.

• XiaomiTool {Easy}
• And Testpoint via MiFlash. {You need tool for this thing.}

Let's start with the XiaomiTool.

1. Download XiaomiTool You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now.
2. Install and do the rest.
3. Now once installed go to the directory.
C:\XiaoMi\XiaomiTool
4. Now once you go on the directory, double click FastFlash. Then do the rest.
(Now there is bit get tricky, now meron choices na pagpipilian kung anong gusto mong install. Like Example : China Stable/Developer or Global Stable/Developer)
5. Choose the proper rom from the 1st Choice then 2nd, 3th , 4th. Leave as None.
6. Now boot to the recovery mode, then choose "Connect to MiAssistant".
7. Then leave as it is. Automated na install iyan.

2nd NOTE:

If nagkaroon ka ng error like , example error 1026 from the tool. This is not working for you. Dahil hindi registered ng serial number sa database ng Xiaomi.

And let's start on the testpoint.

You need long head tweezers and prying tool or blow dryer (for glass back phone) for this.

Just in case sa mga hindi alam ng long nose, eto yun.



Let's start.

Make sure naka-remove na ng likod ng phone mo. Para no need to back and remove again para sa process, just in case you f**ked it up.

1. Download XiaoMiFlash You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now.
2. Download Fastboot Image File for your Xiaomi.
3. Install XiaomiFlash and install the drivers when a pop-up comes to the installation.
4. Extract Fastboot Image, anywhere from your directory. Especially to the Desktop.
5. Prepare long nose tweezers and do test point. Disconnect the battery connector using prying tool or bare hands.
Sample on testpoint.

NOTE: You need to search your testpoint sa google. Base kasi yan sa model.
6. Now place long nose tweezers on the testpoint by connecting the tip of the tweezers to the testpoint. And Connect to the pc.

If you did properly, you get a QHSUSB_LOAD on the Device Manager on Port list. Otherwise, if did not see remove the cable and reconnect and place again the tweezers to the testpoint and try again.

7. Now load xiaomiflash and click refresh. Now if detects your phone as COMXX (XX=number) it means you're good to go.
8. Load the image file that you extracted earlier.
9. Select Clean All on the bottom of the tool , Click Flash and wait a couple of minutes.
10. Once finished, remove usb from the phone put back the battery connector and back as well. And turn the phone now.

Done, you free from fake rom to China/Global Stable.

But, i flash the China Rom to the China Variant how i gonna convert to the Global?

As mentioned, you need to unlock bootloader for 72hours to 360hours. If you have a old , REALLY old MI Account it would take 5-10 Minutes to Unlock. Just bind your account in Settings - Developer Options - Unlock Status - Add Account.
And to the same thing again once you successfully unlock the bootloader.

Done.

May chance pa naman sa Testpoint. It's easy naman pumunta ng test point.

Meron sa fastboot option or via hardware method.

Hardware method kasi sa ginawa kong testpoint, kasi nakalocked ng bootloader.

Sige salamat ulit sa info paps 7mos. pa lng kasi ako xiaomi user pero di pako naka encounter ng tampered rom nagbabasa muna kasi ako naa group para iwas sakit ng ulo pero ayos tong thread for future reference nadin

Hindi.

Kaya nagflash ako ng china stable is para maunlock ko yung bootloader. Nakafake unlock kasi ng fake rom na nakainstall.

So install ko yung china stable para maunlock ko at maflash ko siya ng Global.
