One of the partners, China Telecom, signed a letter of intent to study the feasibility of using the Department of Information and Communications Technology's submarine cable landing station with its own facilities.

The Filipino partner, Udenna Corp chairman Dennis Uy, said Mislatel "will work hard for better, cheaper telecommunications."

"This is just the start of our collaboration here," said China Telecom chairman Yang Jie.

Acting DICT Sec. Eliso Rio said the submarine facilities could be used by other telcos, not just Mislatel.

At ayon din kanina sa balita na napakinggan ko ang speed daw is 27mbps, wow kung ganun hahaha:) at after 5 years 55mbps once na ma-complete na nila ang preparation Seriously?. kung totoo yan pasok na tayo sa top10 hahaha.

Hindi ako nagamit ng Chinese products. Iba ang "Made in China" sa Chinese brands. iPhone X ang phone ko. "Designed by Apple in California" pero "Made in China" dahil sa China inaassemble ang mga Apple products dahil sa cheap labor. Magkaiba un.

Iba ang "Chinese-made" sa Chinese product. Ang Chinese product mura pero substandard. Ang iPhone, ginawa sa China pero mahal at maganda ang quality.

Kala mo lang di chinese product yan. Kahit anung pilit mo lahat ng parts ng iphone ay manufactured sa china. Di lahat ng mahal maganda ang quality.
 
ok to kung secured ang data ng users. kung ma-compromised yun ang mahirap. wala naman tayo iba choice kasi nga 'pangatlo' lang na network na eto. Pero syempre sana mag-improve lahat ng service
 
ok lang naman pong hindi tumangkilik sa third telco. ang totoong purpose po kasi nyan ay mas murang internet para sa lahat. magkakaron na ng kalaban ang smart at globe kaya gagandahan nila ang services nila para hindi lumipat sa third telco. hopefully, ito ang maging epekto noon.
