Would like to start a thread and share our tweaks for this ROM. I would say this is the most stable custom Oreo ROM for G610Y devices. ROM courtesy of Douglas123 at xda developers.

Items to tweak for Philippine users:
1. CSC customization
2. Bootloader animation
3. Default wallpaper
4. Messaging theme
5. Oxygen Kernel by Darklord (option to boost for gaming)

Unfortunately; Samsung has declined to update G610Y unlike its counterpart in other regions. So it has remained Marshmallow and the only updates were all security updates.

Procedure:
copy files above to \system\media folder and overwrite existing files then reboot phone

change default lock/home screen wallpaper:

kung gusto nyo bumalik sa stock samsung wallpapers pag nag apply kayo ng default theme, burahin ninyo ang:

• lockscreen_default_wallpaper.png
• default_wallpaper.png

to change it to your own wallpaper, make your own and rename as above

PROBLEM: If you run Samsung Themes and apply it, Messaging App (SMS) doesn't look right or sometimes the theme shows white text against white background. I haven't found any theme nor have the time to edit the themes manually to get a black background for SMS.

SOLUTION: Change the default messaging app to Samsung Stock J7 Prime Oreo

Procedure:

1. using root browser go to \system\priv-app
2. delete folder \Messaging_SEP10.1 and \Messaging_sticker_plugin
3. copy above folder and file Messaging_SEP81 to \system\priv-app
4. reboot device and now you can apply any theme you want without breaking messaging

CSC customization - this will set the ROM to our region / country: PHILIPPINES (the most important tweak since the ROM is originally set to INDIA, and all apps think that the country of the device is INDIA) Samsung Apps like Galaxy Apps will show you apps that isn't applicable to our region. Including price tags not in Philippine Peso.

Copy the corresponding files to their corresponding folders using File Explorer Root Browser and set their permissions to 644:

Copying to system partition requires root. Pero kung may custom recovery ka pwd to apply thru twrp even without root
