There have been many demos and announcements of iOS 12 and iOS 12.1 Jailbreak Exploits and even Jailbreak Tools lately, and the iOS 11.4.1 and iOS 11.4 users may feel left out, but the majority of the iOS developers have a different opinion. According to developers like Sparkey (Meridian Jailbreak), Pwn20wnd (Unc0ver / Electra Jailbreak), Siguza (Phoenix Jailbreak) and Umanghere (Part of Electra Team), it's best to stay on iOS 11.4.1 or iOS 11.4. iOS 12 comes with some improved security mitigations that were not bypassed yet and they may definitely delay a possible #Jailbreak development. This is not very good #news for those who already updated to iOS 12.x. On the other hand, iOS 11.4.1 and iOS 11.4 already have a lot of Jailbreak exploits released and there are more coming. Sparkey also mentioned the fact that iOS 11 has been completely pwned which means it will pose no surprise for a jailbreak team, unlike iOS 12 whose new security mitigations may become a problem.
