Closed Huawei emui 9.0 update using vpn

Hi,

I saw earlier that Huawei has launched their EMUI 9.0 Android Pie update in Berlin but I haven’t received any update in my phone.

I am using Mate 10 Lite and I am in the USA. Is it possible to use a VPN and connecting to Berlin would show me the update?

Please help. I need to upgrade my device to EMUI 9.0

If im not wrong, they send update on every device by batch.So i think using vpn won't work. You'll have to wait for your device turn.

I actually saw in a video that a user connected to Singapore using a VPN and restarted the phone. He got the update notification. Or maybe, I would have to wait because my region's turn hasn't arrived yet.
