n addition to installing applications from the Store on your Windows Phone, you can also transfer or import from the SD card applications to your phone (if your phone supports SD cards). To side-load an application or game, you must have an SD card, also known as .XAP files, that contains one or more Windows Phone application files. You can download .XAP files to your computer, then transfer the files to the SD card of the phone.

Tip If you are
running Windows Phone 8.1 and your phone supports SD card, you can download applications directly from the SD card instead of your phone's internal storage. These apps are also shown in your Apps list, just like any other apps and games. For more information. Using an SD card to insert a field.

3 - Scroll down to the Web page, and then click Download and install manually (under Application requirements and supported languages).

4. Save the .XAP file to a location on your computer, SD card, or storage device when you are prompted .

Note
If you download the .XAP file to a different location on an SD card that your phone supports, you will need to move or copy the file to the SD card to load it on your phone.

To learn how to move or copy files using Windows Explorer (also called File Explorer in some versions of Windows), go to the Windows website and search How do I.
